It is the last Friday of April, and I can hardly believe it. Today I am showcasing the April 2026 Sheetload of Cards. As I have explained before, I use the monthly sheetload sketch to make a batch of cards to send to the ladies on the prayer request sheet that my health insurance puts out every month. This month I needed 15 cards. The April 2026 Sheetload of Cards sketch makes 10 cards, so I used patterned papers that I had two sheets of each of and made 16 cards.

I loved the floral paper that I found in my stash and looked for a plaid to coordinate, deciding that the tone-on-tone red plaid would work very well. A lime green textured cardstock sheet for the plain cardstock at the top brought in both a lighter color and some interest. For the focal point, I made a variation of the praying hands cutout that I had used last month. I removed the verse and increased the size of the hands to take up all the space in the arch. This made for quick, clean Silhouette Cameo cuts, and I backed the cutouts with a rectangle of burgundy cardstock from my stash.

The cards were completed with a sentiment that I printed out, which says “prayer coming your way,” and then cut with the Hero Arts Sentiment Strips die. I added a mat behind the sentiment strip in the same burgundy cardstock as the backing of the focal point.

I trust that these cards will bless those who receive them. Thank you for joining me again this week, and I will see you next week as we move into May 2026.

Beautiful cards. I love how you interchanged things (background, flowers,….). And the praying hands always do something special and comforting. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
