It is the last Friday of the month and here I am with the March 2026 Sheetload of Cards. As I mentioned before, I use the sheetload of cards to create encouragement and prayer cards for the ladies on the monthly prayer list that my health insurance puts out. This month I needed 24 cards and the March 2026 Sheetload of Cards makes eight, so I needed to make it three times.

Since I am using papers from my stash for this project, I spent some time matching papers and card stock because I wanted to make each set different while using the same focal design. I had an idea for the design and it did take some work. The praying hands were to be a cutout done on my Silhouette Cameo, showing the colored card stock behind. While the design worked well on a larger cutout, it was a bit more difficult at the small size needed for the A2 cards. However, with a new mat and some patience, I got it done.

The next step was to assemble the cards and I opted to use the same color card stock to back the praying hands that I used as a mat for the stripes. I offset the mat slightly in the opposite direction from the offset on the stripes.

Fortunately, the March 2026 Sheetload of Cards is a fairly simple sketch and was easy to scale as needed. If you are interested in making your own sheetload, you can visit Call Me Crafty Al’s YouTube channel to download the sketch for yourself.

These are lovely cards. And surely an encouragement for everyone that received one. I like how you used the different backgrounds, how you interchanged them – yet the focal point was the same on all of them. Beautifully done. 🙂
