Today is Friday and I am back again to show you a new project. I needed a card for our media manager and assistant pastor, and he loves to play his guitar. So the Spellbinders Majestic Guitar was the perfect focal point for this card.

I browsed the Color Catalog and found a palette I loved for this project — number 159. After that I matched my Spellbinders cardstock to the palette and chose Fog, Poppy, Merlot, Truffle and Raven Black. I embossed the Raven Black cardstock with the Spellbinders Crackle Paint 3D Embossing Folder to create the full background panel. Then I cut the various pieces of the guitar from the other cardstock colors, using Poppy for the body.

I wanted the guitar front and center on the card, and the Spellbinders Majestic Guitar fills a 5×7 design beautifully. I finished the card with a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Spellbinders Classic Sentiments die set.
Thank you for visiting with me today. I will see you next week.

This is a beautiful card. So bold, I love the colours. And I lovel the intricate bits and pieces – strings, knobs,… What a great idea. And so fitting for him.
