Today I am here to show you my take on the June 2025 Sheetload of Cards. I opted to use the sketch to make Father’s Day cards for our congregation and decided to incorporate the Spellbinders Timeless Truck on them. I thought they would make a perfect masculine card.

While looking through my stash for patterned paper, I found a textured metallic blue cardstock sheet in my box. It was a 12×12 size and so there was enough to cut the eight trucks that I needed for the cards I needed to make. This month’s sketch makes 5×7 cards, which was also perfect for the placement of the truck.

This month’s sheetload uses 6×6 patterned paper, but since I did not have anything suitable for my purpose or enough of the same to make a double sheetload, I chose two 12×12 papers with a smaller print on them to create with. While chatting to my friend, I cut and assembled all the trucks. Then I cut my papers and assembled the cards. Using the Spellbinders Classic Sentiments die set, I cut the words “Father’s Day” in white cardstock with a black shadow.

Finally, I added the trucks and the sentiments to the front of the cards. I love the hint of metallic on the trucks without them being completely shiny. It does not come out in the photo so much, but in real life it is a great effect. If you would like to make your own version of the June 2025 Sheetload of Cards, you can always find the sketch on Call me Crafty Al’s YouTube channel. Thank you for stopping by. See you next week.
