I’m back today with a sweet and textural birthday card featuring the Spellbinders Stitched Classic Pooh die set which was released to complement the previously released Classic Pooh collection. This time, I tried something a little different — instead of stitching the die-cut pieces, I used felt to create a soft, dimensional look.
I cut all the pieces from colorful felt and glued them onto a 5×7 card base covered with purple plaid patterned paper. The felt adds wonderful texture and warmth, making Pooh and his honey pot really stand out.
The sentiment, “Happy Birthday!”, comes from the Spellbinders Classic Sentiments die set. I also added a cute little felt bee buzzing nearby — because every honey pot needs one!
This card came together quickly and makes a delightful handmade birthday card for any Pooh Bear fan.
