Hello Blogland friends! It is Friday again and I am here to show you two cards that I made with the Spellbinders Dear Santa Collection. I wanted to use the die set I received from this Dear Santa collection to create both a traditional and a non-traditional holiday card. If you have been around here for a while, you will know that I love using pink for Christmas cards.

My first card is done in traditional colors as a starting point. The cute envelope and notecard from the Happy Post Envelope die set are the focal point of the card. I also used the Festive Floral Mix die set to create the floral elements. I embossed the white card panel with the Spellbinders Christmas Cameos Embossing Folder and used two of the Essential Stylish Ovals dies to create a red cardstock frame.

I completed the card with a “Merry Christmas” sentiment using the Merry Greetings die set, which is also part of the Dear Santa collection.

My second card uses the same design as the first card and also features the envelope and notecard. I used the die for the envelope flap to create an envelope liner from pink gingham patterned paper. Using shades of pink and purple cardstock, I created the florals and the sentiment.

I again embossed the white card panel with the Christmas Cameos Embossing Folder and used the Essential Stylish Ovals dies to create a frame. Which of these two cards do you like best?
Thank you for visiting with me today. Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you next week!

Both cards look lovely but I like the first one a bit better.
The idea, embossing, the setup with the envelope, the frame, the sentiment, etc .are beautiful.
But the bold colours of the first card are just a bit more beautiful. And the green, orange and red go well together.
Enjoyed looking at them. 🙂
