Unfortunately, last week ran away with me and so I was not able to show you my card on Friday. But maybe today counts also and so here I am. This project is made with the beautiful November 2025 Spellbinders Stencil of the Month. This is a layering stencil and this month we have a stripey background with a whole lot of cherries. I needed a birthday card and this was the perfect background for it.

I printed the sentiment onto my cardstock panel with my laser printer and then foiled it with a teal colored foil and my Minc machine. Once it was foiled, I applied the background with the stencil parts using dye ink. The foil resists the ink and so that made it look like the foiling had been done on top of the background.

The card was then completed by adding the stenciled panel to a mat of teal foil cardstock which matched perfectly with the foiling on the sentiment. I then layered that onto a piece of teal colored cardstock and finally adhered it to a cream colored 5×7 cardbase.
I would encourage you to take a look at the Spellbinders Clubs. The Stencil of the Month is a very budget friendly club and the layering stencil is a lot of fun. Thank you for visiting, I will see you next time.

I love the card. Those cherries look so real, well done. And the sentiment in that teal coloured foil looks stunning, so effective. All so beautifully assembled. 🙂
I enjoy looking at your creations.
