Happy Friday friends. I am hoping that my subscription email will work now. Those of you who subscribe will have noticed that it had been on the blink, but I believe that I have been able to get something going again. Today I am sharing a set of cards I made with Kinda Cute’s new release called the Sloth Digital Stamp set. This set comes with three sloths, some branches, leaves, a nest and a bunch of sentiments in both English and Spanish. I created four cards with this sweet Sloth Digital Stamp set.

For my first card I went completely digital. Working in Procreate, I colored the sloth hanging from the branch. Then once it was colored, I created a pattern with the colored image and printed a background panel for an A2 sized notecard. I added the sentiment “Let’s hang out soon” and, using a watercolor brush in Procreate, I painted on a layer behind the sentiment to make it easy to read. I then added this panel to a black 4×5.25 inch panel and then adhered that to a white card base.

My second card is a quick and easy version. I sized one of the other sloth digis onto a 4×5.25 inch card panel with a sentiment from the set underneath it and printed it out on my laser printer. I then ran it through my Minc machine with gold foil and foiled both the digi and sentiment.

While this is a very simple card, the gold foil is beautiful in real life. But as always, it is so hard to photograph. I did take another picture from a different angle so you can catch a glimpse of the shine.

My third card uses a branch and the nest from the Sloth Digital Stamp set as well as a sentiment. I printed the sentiment separately so that I could cut it out and layer it on a piece of black cardstock. The branch and nest are colored with Copic markers, and then the rest of the panel is inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink using a blending brush. The sweet birds are cut from the now retired Spellbinders Sweet Birdie and Little Chickadee die sets.

For my final card, I am using a different digi from the Sloth Digital Stamp set. I printed him out through Silhouette Studio and then cut him out on my Cameo. That is one great benefit of using digital stamps – the ability to cut them out in any size with an electronic die cutting machine! I colored the little guy with my Copic markers and then ran a black Tombow marker along the cut edge to refine the die cut. The card panel is embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder and he just looked like he was missing his special friend. The sentiment is made with an alphabet die set from my stash.
The Sloth Digital Stamp set is very cute and does have many options both in images and sentiments. Patricia of Kinda Cute currently has her digital stamps at 40% off in her shop, so it is a good time to hop over there and see her collection. Thank you for visiting with me today. I look forward to seeing you again next week.
