A Timeless Truck birthday secret for a special lady

It is Friday again and usually I would be sharing my Sheetload of Cards for the month, but since I was out of the country, I was not able to make them for September 2026. But I do have another project to show you today, a special birthday card using the Spellbinders Timeless Truck die set. I have a friend who just recently purchased a red truck for herself, so that was going to be a much-appreciated theme for her birthday card.

I wanted to try foiling on black cardstock for a while and so here was my chance. I printed the sentiment “TRUCKS ARE FOR GIRLS” on my laser printer and was interested to see that one could actually see the black toner on the black cardstock when holding it to the light. So I knew where to put the foil. The result was a happy discovery – there are certain angles where the foiling is not visible and other angles where it shines out its message. I was so pleased. I have tried to capture both angles here.

Using the Timeless Truck die set, I assembled the red truck and added it above the foiled sentiment. I cut the arrow from the Camp Days die set to draw attention to the sentiment and then added “birthday secret” above it. I love how this fun card turned out and the recipient was thrilled with it.

Thank you for visiting with me today. I will see you next week with a new project.
