Happy Friday! Today I have the cutest card to show you using the new Spellbinders Country Christmas snowman die set. The set cuts a snowman with a bandana and a cowboy hat and being that I am in Arizona, this is just perfect. A cardinal and a bunny are also included in the die set to keep him company.

I decided to use a patterned paper for my background. Since this is a Christmas in July card, I did not want to use a snowy scene – I mean a snowman in July is an anomaly. I chose a page from a previous Christmas patterned paper collection from Spellbinders that also had a lovely sentiment printed on it. I used this verse as the sentiment for my card.

After die cutting all the pieces for the Country Christmas Snowman twice from various colors of cardstock, I glued them together to make thicker and sturdier elements. I am in love with this sweet snowman. His eyes and carrot nose give him the loveliest expression.

The card was completed by adding the die cut characters to the patterned paper cardpanel. I made a 5×7 card for this project so that all the elements had enough space to shine. Be sure to visit me again shortly as I have some more die sets from this Country Christmas collection.

The card looks gorgeous. A lovely guy with his cute friends. The patterned paper and the sentiment work so well here.
