Here we are on the first Friday of June and I have some projects for crafty friends to show you. I’m working with two new Spellbinders collections namely Take Note and Crafty Babe. I made three different cards to show you. Also, I used an Altenew stamp set from my stash that I have not used very much, but that is a perfect complement to these cute die sets.

For my first card, I used the die set called Labels & Icons. I love the little icons that this set cuts out. I decided to create a notice style card, using both the positive and the negative cuts of each icon. The tab is also one of the dies in the set and so it fits the size of the icons perfectly. There are five icons namely, a heart, a pair of scissors, a flower, some diamond shapes and a camera. My crafty stamp set has five actions all in a similar stamp shape. So using dye inks, I created the little icons and stamped the words love, craft, eat, sleep and repeat on five separate tabs. I found a piece of patterned paper in my stash that looked like a cork board and used that as a card background. I added the tabs to it and a sentiment from the stamp set at the bottom. Since crafting is the most important of these actions, I added a little pushpin from the Take Note die set.

My second and third cards feature the Crafty Babe die set. The die set creates four crafty tools namely, a pair of scissors, a paintbrush, a glue bottle and a roll of washi tape. For my first card, I cut the tools out of shades of pink cardstock. Using the green plaid paper for the background matted onto a light green card panel, I arranged the tools onto it. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out with a Hero Arts Circle Infinity die. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I created another pushpin to accentuate the sentiment.

My final card has teal colored crafty tools laid onto a brown/orange plaid background. Using a different stamp, I again stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. A teal colored pushpin completed this card. I will definitely be revisiting these craft supplies. The die set with the pushpin in it also has a sticky note die which I have yet to use. So I am sure you will see more of these in the future. Thank you for visiting with me today and I will see you next week.

I received the Push Pin Notes, Crafty Tools and Labels & Icons die sets from Spellbinders in order to create with. I purchased all the other products used in these projects myself.
