In the pink at the new Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenge

Can you believe that it is May 1 already? Well believe it or not, it is so and here I am with my DT Project for the new Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenge. This time I am using the column N – Christmas, Pink, Free, Glitter, Dots/Gems. If you have been around here for a while, you will know that I love pink Christmas cards so the choice of column on this challenge was clear from the beginning.

I also love using plaid paper for Christmas cards and so I searched through my paper packs to find a pink plaid that was correctly sized for an A2 sized card. I used this as the background to set the stage for my pink Christmas card. Then to bring in the glitter requirement for the card, I cut a Christmas ornament from pink Glitter cardstock. I have this one that has quite a bit of glitter on it.

I “hung” the ornament from the top of the card with pink embroidery floss, tucking the floss behind the plaid card panel. Also using glitter cardstock, but a more subtle version in black, I cut the “Merry Christmas” sentiment. I completed the card by adding the sentiment under the ornament and then adding three pink dots to each side of the ornament.

Now it is your turn to show us your make at the Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenge. The challenge allows for any occasion, not just Christmas, and asks that you use one of the columns in your project. You have 6 weeks to enter. Thank you for visiting.

  1. Your Christmas card is festive and uplifting with using the pinks! The unexpected non-traditional pink gives it a contemporary vibe and makes your design unique! You’ve used the Column Nn elements brilliantly! Thanks for creating a marvelous design inspiration card for ConBC! — Becca
