Time for the September 2024 Sheetload of Cards display! This month the sketch makes 12 cards and uses 3 pieces of patterned paper. I followed the sketch as described on the sheet. If you would like to make your own Sheetload of Cards, visit Call Me {Crafty} Al’s YouTube Channel to download the sketch. I love that I am using up my stash of patterned paper for these projects.
This month, the sketch provides for the making of 6 unique cards – and then two of each kind. The base is a fun-fold card that creates a mini slimline card. I chose a floral patterned paper and two plainer papers to use here. I opted to use kraft paper as my cardbase as I love the more earthy look that this provides.
As you can see, when the card is closed, one sees all three papers as a strip. And there are 6 versions of the placements of these strips to create the 6 unique cards.
I used a Scripture stamp from my stash to create the encouragement sentiment in the smaller circle and chose a yellow cardstock from my stash to be the matte behind the sentiment circle. I cut the circle with stitched circle dies to add a bit of interest.
The inside of the card also got a circle to provide a place to write a personalized message.
Thank you for visiting my blog again this week. This post will join my previous Sheetload of Cards posts in this year’s lineup. Have a good weekend and I will see you next week again.
