Two more easy cards made with the Spellbinders Timeless Collection

Hello friends, I am back today with another two cards that I made with the Spellbinders Timeless Collection. You may remember that I recently made two with gold and white cardstock and some butterflies on the one. Today I made my two using dark and light teal colors. By using the contrasting colors, I got two cards out of the die cuts that I made.

Spellbinders Timeless Collection to make 2 cards

Both cards are 5 x 7. The first card has a light teal cardpanel. Using the Spellbinders Timeless Hearts Border, I cut the design out of light teal cardstock. This is the same as the cardpanel. Using the outer shape die, I cut a dark teal background shape. I felt like the design needed a little bit of shine behind it, so using silver washi tape I added a line under the flourishes.

Using the Spellbinders Timeless Duo die set, I cut each side out of dark teal cardstock and added it to the center of my card. I completed the card with a “hello” sentiment from the Spellbinders Wonderful Scripts sentiment die set. It is cut out of white with a black shadow.

Making the second card as a reverse

My second card is the same design in reverse. The cardpanel is dark teal, the shaped border is light teal and the design is dark teal. I again added a thin strip of silver washi tape underneath the design to add a bit of bling. On this card I used holographic foiled cardstock for the designs in the middle of the card. I completed the card by adding a “hello” sentiment as before.

These designs are so detailed and, depending on the colors used, can go from elegant to very elegant. As is the case with many such die cuts, one can often easily make two cards in one sitting. I hope you enjoy these simple, yet detailed cards.
