Be Bold Blooms for 2 Beautiful, Easy to Make Cards with Watercolor Flowers

Today I am back with two cards to show you that I created using the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms die set. I love this die set, it creates beautiful flowers and I have used it many times. Sometimes I use it with colored cardstock and sometimes I use it with white cardstock and color the flowers. That is what I did this time. I cut the flowers out of white cardstock and colored them with my watercolor brush markers.

Be Bold Blooms with a bright green frame

My first card uses the Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate, which I cut out of bright green cardstock. I only used the outer part of the die cut plate and added it to the front of an A2 sized cardbase. After coloring the flowers with my watercolor brush markers, I assembled the various parts of the flowers and created a bouquet in the bottom right side of the oval left open by using the outer border of the Punch & Pierce Plate. I completed the card with a “happy birthday” sentiment from the Spellbinders Everyday Sentiments, cut from white cardstack with a black shadow.

Be Bold Blooms with a light pink frame

My second card is quite similar. Using the Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate, I cut the panel from pink cardstock. I added it to the front of an A2 cardbase. Using the rest of my watercolored flowers, I created a bouquet in the open oval of this card. I completed the card by adding a “birthday wishes” sentiment from the Spellbinders Thanks Enclosed die set.

I enjoy working with the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms die set. It makes very pretty flowers that can be cut from colored cardstock or from white cardstock and then colored with your favorite medium. The Inifinity Punch & Pierce Plate is so versatile. I created a batch of thank you cards with it before that

  1. These cards are really effective. They look lovely, the flowers are beautifully arranged. Once again, well done!
