Happy Friday! I am so excited to share this cheerful card with you today. The background features a vibrant turquoise sky paired with grounding in two shades of green. The whole pieced together card panel was run through the Spellbinders Whimsical Skies 3D embossing folder to add touchable depth and movement. At the center of the scene sit three colorful, crooked houses created with the Spellbinders Whimsical Houses die set, nestled with tiny brown fences next to swaying palm trees.

To give this sunny scene a playful twist, I brought together elements from completely different themes. On the left, a tall palm tree built from the Spellbinders Nativity Scene set adds a warm, beachy touch. On the right, a joyful little snowman – crafted using the Honey Bee Stamps Build a Snowman set. He stands underneath his own palm tree, complete with a tiny dark blue bow tie, orange carrot nose and classic twig arms. Combining winter snow figures with tropical beach elements creates a delightful contrast that I thought would bring a smile to my friend’s face who lives in Florida, but loves snowmen.

To finish off the design, I added a neat white sentiment strip across the top right corner that reads “wishing you brighter days,” stamped with the Whimsical Wishes stamp set and Versafine Onyx Black ink. The bright yellow, red and blue houses pop beautifully against the textured landscape, creating a bright and happy scene.

I hope this sunny little neighborhood brightens your day. Thank you so much for visiting with me today! I truly appreciate you stopping by to check out my latest creation and I look forward to seeing you again next week.
