It is Friday and today I’m back with another project for Spellbinders. I’m working with the Beautifully Imperfect collection and I have two cards to show you. I received three products from this collection which I will showcase here.

My first card uses the Distress Mix 3D embossing folder as well as the Tangled Threads die set. As I was using a 5 x 7 card base, I cut a panel from white cardstock at 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. I cut an oval out of the top right-hand corner of the panel and cut the holes for the Tangled Threads stitching underneath it prior to embossing the panel.
Once I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped the sentiment into the cutout oval using blue dye ink and the Spellbinders Family Musical Greetings stamp set. I positioned the Mickey from the Steamboat Willy Duo die set in the bottom left-hand corner and cut the zigzag thread from one of the blues in his outfit.

My next card also features a classic character. Using the Crackle Paint 3D embossing folder, I embossed a 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inch card panel. I cut a circle and then placed Pooh Bear and Piglet in the middle. Using another two dies from the Tangled Threads set, I placed the “threads” behind the circle. The card panel, sentiment and “threads” are all in the same color cardstock.
While these are fairly simple cards to make, the Beautifully Imperfect embossing folders and unique die set make a great impression. Thank you for visiting with me today and I look forward to seeing you next time.

Two lovely cards. The embossed backgrounds are so beautiful. And the characters – Mickey and Pooh Bear and Piglet – are just too sweet. So beautifully done and placed on the cards. The sentiments are lovely too.
Well done – again. 🙂 🙂
