Today I have a fun project to show you, actually 4! But they are mini cards. Using the new Spellbinders Sky’s the Limit collection by Simon Hurley, I made a set of 4 cards that are 3×5 inches each. They are the perfect size to just use as little encouragement cards for friends or thank you greetings when needed.

Using the Fly a Kite die set from the Sky’s the Limit collection, I made two cards with two kites each. I used the Spellbinders Plaid Company embossing folder to emboss a 2.75×4.75 inch cardpanel for each card and glued the panels onto the little cards.

I then arranged the two different kite designs on each of these cards. It was a lot of fun making the different kites and there are three different shapes in the die set. Of course the combinations of cards that one can make are only limited by the imagination.

My third and fourth cards feature the Up and Away die set from this collection. I made both the little girl and the little boy. I decided to go with a teal color scheme for the little girl and her kite. Again this is a very diverse die set and there are some options for customization of hairstyle and clothes. I made a kite to match her outfit.

My final card has the little boy on it. As before, I created the kite to match his outfit and keep it cohesive. He also has options with regard to his outfit and hairstyle.

If you enjoy happy, colorful cardmaking, then the Spellbinders Sky’s the Limit collection is definitely something you should look into. They are such fun. Thank you for visiting with me, see you next week.

Again, 4 lovely cards. And so colourful and happy, as you also said. The colours are beautiful and the embossed card background is so effective.
I like the little details: the two-coloured shoes, the smiling faces, the clip in her hair.
Sweet idea! 🙂
