Thank you

Today I just have a short post to share with you. I recently discovered Cards for Soldiers and have been filling my donation box with my cards to send to them. I decided that a few of the cards should be for the service members themselves and so I visited the Silhouette Store.

I found this flag file in the store and decided it was perfect – lots of little pieces to glue!! But I do like the way in which the shape of the lines gives the look of a flying flag. I divided the pieces of the flag so that I could cut multiples out of each of the three colors. Then assembly started, I made twenty of them.

I have this lovely, sadly retired, Thanks die from Spellbinders which I cut out of heavyweight cardstock so that it has a bit of dimension and added one to the bottom of each card.

The inner was printed on the cardstock before I cut the cardbases and folded them. I am so in love with my printer than can deal with heavy paper.

  1. Awesome, Monica! So happy for you enjoying your printer working for you – since you do CAS much more (and better) than I do, less layers is good! Bless you for making these cards! xoxo
