Happy Friday! This week I am back again with a second blog post, thanks to my fun challenge with BozenA. I have caught up on my Sheetload of Cards posts again, so today I am showing you my take on the October 2026 Sheetload of Cards. This month, the sketch creates eight cards and since I needed 20 prayer cards this month, I made two sets. I will take the additional four cards I need from my stash.

The sketch calls for 6×6 papers this month and given the cuts and design, I thought this would be a great opportunity to use the papers from the pads I bought in Holland many moons ago. Those papers are 15 cm x 15 cm, which is slightly smaller than 6×6 and can sometimes make them unsuitable for a particular design. For my first set, I chose a pink mottled paper and a small floral print.

I added purple cardstock as the mat for the strips and then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the praying hands silhouette. After consulting my Color Catalog, I found a palette that introduced green into this color combination, which is why I used a green circle behind the hands. I completed the cards with sentiments that I printed and then cut out using the Hero Arts Sentiment Strips die.

For the second set I made with the October 2026 Sheetload of Cards, I chose a chevron design paired with an overall pink floral print. Again, using a palette from the Color Catalog, I backed the strips with teal-colored cardstock and added a pink circle behind the praying hands.

Thank you for joining me again today. I will be back next week with some more projects to share with you here.
