I designed my card in Silhouette Studio. I filled a 5.25×4 inch rectangle with the watermelon slice digi and I put the sentiment digi in a circle that I filled with an ivory color. I printed them out onto Daler-Rowney Drawing paper and then cut them out with the Silhouette machine. I colored the watermelon with my Colleen colored pencils this time. I have a set of 24 Colleen pencils that my Mom bought for me when I was still a kid – some of the original ones that were still made in Japan. They were what started my love for colored pencils.

Great fun card and sentiment -love how you put the sentiment to look like a slice out and how special that you still have your original pencils.

Beautiful composition of the card, and ideally ideally for the summer. In Poland we have great heat now and this card is a real refreshment 🙂
