If you follow my blog, you will know that I love to play along in the Imagine That Digistamp Progressive Challenge. I am nearly out of time for June! This month the image is perfect for a garden enthusiast and the package comes with various quirky sentiments.
I printed my image out onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I was working on getting his pants to look like demin, but that needs a bit more practice. Once completed, I cut it out with a stitched rectangle die that I did partial die cutting with to change the shape of the die.
I added some patterned paper to a white cardbase and then added my focal image to the card. I added the sentiment, also from the package, to the top of the card popped up with foam tape. Again I did some partial die cutting on the sentiment to get the die to match the size I needed.
I added two little yellow flower die cuts to the tree and a cute bee from a new die set that I got. A pearl in each flower center completed the card.

Wonderful card, Monica, and I love the background paper you chose! That bee is precious. 😀
Not only does this boy's pants look like jeans, his hat also looks like jeans. Great coloring and a great garden scene.
