Happy Duck

I cannot believe that it is Friday again and also that we are in the last quarter of 2021!! But it is so. Today is Friday and so I am back with a project to share with you. Today I have a special digi. It was a pencil sketch that a special lady drew and I converted into a digi.

I printed the sweet little duck onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper and cut it out with a stitched label die. I colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once colored, I adhered the label to a card panel that I had foiled with my laminator after printing the rays on a copy shop’s laser printer. I matted the panel onto black cardstock and then added it to a top-folding cardbase.

I completed by card by adding a sentiment from the Thin Words die set that I cut twice out of black cardstock and stuck together for a bit of added dimension.
I have created a color combo download for you again. Please just follow my blog before you download it.

  1. Beautiful…I love happy cards, this is such a cute Duck drawing, your foiled background is perfect to make your digi come to life. Hugs, Lori m

  2. This duck really looks happy 🙂 Beautiful digi and well-designed card. The sentiment is perfectly matched. The added gilding looks stunning. As you can see, you don't need to have a printer at home to do gilding 🙂
