Spellbinders Advent Calendar 2025: What I Made for Days 19–24

It is Christmas Eve and here is the final post of my Spellbinders Advent Calendar 2025 projects. I very much enjoyed making all the projects with the contents of the calendar and I plan to do this again in future years. Not only did I enjoy opening the little doors, but also the challenge of making something with the contents each day.

Day 19 revealed another sentiment stamp set with some really useful sentiments in it. I opted to make another clean and simple card and so stamped the sentiment that says “you make me smile” in red ink near the bottom of my card panel.

I added a piece of patterned paper to the side of the panel and completed the card with a toast slice made with the die set from Day 10.

The gift for Day 20 was a die set that creates a UFO. That paired perfectly with another one of the sentiments from the stamp set for Day 19 which reads “you are out of this world”.

I used a cloud embossing folder from my stash as the background and added the sentiment, cut out with an oval die, along with the UFO to the card.

Day 21 was a sentiment die set that reads “best wishes”. If you follow my blog, you know that I love sentiment dies and this is a lovely font and a very versatile sentiment. I stamped the mushrooms from Day 2 with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I cut the image out with a circle die as well as a larger circle to layer it onto.

Using the embossing folder from Day 6, I embossed a piece of patterned paper and placed it on the left side of my card, then completed the card with the “best wishes” sentiment.

For Day 22, the door hid a layered stencil that created a geometric pattern. I inked up the layers of the stencil and then cut the panel out with a circle die that matched the size of the pattern. Using the stamp set from Day 19, I stamped the word “thanks” in the middle and added a little star punched out of silver glitter cardstock to the left side.

The card panel is a sheet of patterned paper from my scrap box and I added two “strings” cut with the new Spellbinders Beautifully Imperfect collection. This has quickly become one of my favorite die sets to add interest to a card.

Day 23 revealed another very cute die set, a roller skate. I created two skates for my card and they were such fun to assemble. The die set also has a wing included which one can add to the skate, but I did not use it on this card.

Using another sentiment from the stamp set from Day 19 that says “rolling by to say hi”, I added the sentiment to the bottom of the card panel before doing some partial embossing on the top of the panel. I added the skates and that completed my card.

And here we are on the final day. Day 24 contained a die set that created a horseshoe and a four-leaf clover. I cut the pieces out of shades of green cardstock and added them to an embossed purple card panel. I completed the card with a “best wishes” sentiment cut with the die set from Day 21.
