Let’s Go Fly a Kite

Today I am back with another project for Jan’s Digital Stamp Shop and also a reminder that we are mid-way through the February challenge at the Jan’s Digi Stamps Challenge blog.

For this card, I used both the image and the printed sentiment from the Let’s Go Fly a Kite set which is currently on sale. I colored the image with my Copic markers and did some serious experimentation with the colorless blender, blending the blue of his pants and the red of his shirt into a faded look. I was quite pleased with the result.
I completed the card by adding the panel to a red cardstock matte and then adding it to a white cardbase. I added a die cut sub-sentiment to the bottom of the card.
This is the image of the whole set called Let’s Go Fly a Kite.

The challenge is Anything Goes and we would love to see your projects there. An extra chance to win if you use one of Jan’s digis in your project.

  1. Fabulous job with the new Copics, Monica! I love the faded jeans and highlights in the boy's shirt! Your brilliant colors could not be more eye-catching! I especially like the contrasting spring green grass. It looks so soft and lush! Great write up, too. So glad to have you on the JDS team!
