Today I am back with two projects for another new Spellbinders release. This time the release is a 3D vignette one – which is new to me. I was given the 3D Vignette Pet House to create with and while I was excited about it, I was rather intimidated. But it was not difficult to assemble and there are instructions that come with the die set.

My first project was a test run of the die set as it was intended to be used. I made the dog house with the little dog inside. The sentiment is so sweet and the little house stands on its own, making a sweet 3D card for a recipient to display. The house folds sideways and fits into an envelope.

My second project was a A2 notecard with the front of the house on the front of the card. But this time I used the cat, which is also included in the die set, and the cat related sentiment. I used patterned paper for the background. I stacked the cat up with three layers to give it some dimension.

The house was a tad too wide for the card and so I snipped the side a bit to make it fit. I really enjoyed working with this vignette. I have another project coming up in the future with it.

    These are really adorable. I saw them on the website and really liked them. I just didn't think I would use them a lot. I am very overloaded with dies right now. So much so that storage is almost impossible. I have been getting their total package for several years. No one would know that by how much I use them. I never seem to get around to them!
