I am on Day 3 of my Spellbinders posts and today I have another project using dies from the new Birthday Celebration collection. I decided it was time to make hubby a card again, he has been on the short end of the recipient list for a while now.
I am again using the dies for a purpose other than their intended one. I love to see what else one can do with dies. I used the Pick Your Greeting Slider die set here without the slider. I used the sentiment strips and the arrow. Orange and yellow were our wedding colors and so that was the reasoning behind this color choice.
I used a Spellbinders embossing folder for the background of this 5X7 card. I positioned the arrow in the horizontal center of the card and attached it with a blue brad so that it could swing.
I love alphabet die sets as they are so versatile and when I saw this Stitched Alphabet letters, I knew they had my name on them. They are available as the whole alphabet and as individual letters. I cut and stitched the letters of his name in blue and then adhered them to the bottom of the card.
The card was completed with an embellishment string from the Party Décor set in each corner.
Tomorrow will be the last day of my daily posts and I will return to weekly projects.
