Today I am back again with another card using a sweet image from All Dressed Up called Warm Hands Warm Heart. This is my last DT project for the Rabisco Challenge blog.
I decided to keep this card in shades of brown and so printed the digi onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper. I cut it out with an oval die and cut an oval one size bigger out of both brown cardstock and brown craft foam. I glued the three parts together and added a bit of red gel pen to the heart on her mug.
Using a white side-folding cardbase, I added a piece of brown cardstock to the left hand side of the card and overlapped a piece of plaid patterned paper from the right. I added a piece of narrow ivory lace over the seam and then glued the focal item to the card.
I completed the card with a die cut sentiment that reads First Coffee using Spellbinders dies. I cut the words once in ochre and once in brown and glued them offset to create a shadow effect.
