Here I am with my last blog post for 2019. It is hard to believe that this year has flown by so fast. I have had many life changes this year and I look forward to some more in 2020. Thank you all for joining me on my creative journey.
I recently visited the Imagine That Digistamp shop and somehow the digi set of little Ladybugs got themselves into my cart in addition to the other items and so I just had to color up one of them. I love this little one with the daisy.
I sized the image in Silhouette Studio so that it would fit well onto a notecard. I created a cutline around the digi and then added a small offset so that it would have a small white outline and that the antennae would cut out well. I then printed the little guy out onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper and colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I added some brown gel pen to the center of the flower. Once colored, I returned to the Silhouette to cut him out.
