The night before Christmas

Here I am again with another post for the middle of the month sponsor at Rabisco Challenge blog. Our sponsor is All Dressed Up Stamps and I got to work with the image called The Night Before Christmas.

I printed the image out onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils, adding a bit of silver gel pen to the stars on the comforter. Once colored, I cut the image out with a lacey oval die from my stash. I also cut three snowflakes from teal and pink cardstock.

Using Scor-Tape, I adhered a piece of gold ribbon to the top and the bottom of my cardbase. I then glued the focal image to the card and added the computer generated sentiment. I completed the card by adding the three snowflakes into the top right-hand corner and added a pink gem into the center of each teal one.

The challenges at the Rabisco Challenge blog go for a month and each month we have two sponsors. Be sure to head over and check us out.
