I resized the image in Silhouette Studio so that she would fill out most of the front of an A2 card. I wanted her to be front and center on my card. I then printed her out onto Daler-Rowney Drawing paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once I had colored her, I returned to my Silhouette and cut her out. I ran my black Tombow marker along the cut edge of the digi. This makes a big difference to the finished look of the cutout.
