Have you been to Paris? I have and I loved the time I spent there. So today I am awakening a little Frenchness – is that even a word?
Time for a new challenge over at the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge blog. All the challenges there are sponsored by Julia Spiri and I love working with her images. For this month I chose to work with The Paris Collection. It is a lovely digi with a number of elements that you can use to create a scene.
I created my scene using Silhouette Studio after I had drawn a 5×5 inch square on my canvas. I wanted to be sure that I had a small border of background showing on my 5.5×5.5 card. I printed the image out and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
Once completed, I cut the image out with my Silhouette and adhered it to the patterned paper cardpanel and then to the cardbase. The French sentiment is included in the digi as one of the elements.
If you are a member of any design team in the world, you can enter your projects over at the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge blog and stand a chance to win this digi yourself.

Gorgeous card, Monica, using this sweet image of a cycling girl and her puppy in the bicycle basket. I especially love how you coloured the pleats in her skirt and added her to a black and white backdrop of Parisian landmarks. Lovely work! x
