I have some extra projects to show you this month and so there will be two projects posted this week. This first one uses the beautiful Spellbinders Magical Fuchsia die set. I love flower dies, especially layering sets, and I did not have a fuchsia in my flower collection, so I wanted to add this one to my stash. I used the die set to make four sprays of magical fuchsia blooms, all the same.

The flowers have lots of detail, with different layers of cardstock bringing that detail to life, yet they are not difficult to assemble. Spellbinders does have an assembly guide on their product page for the flower spray and that does help. I simply cut and assembled the pieces while on a video chat with a friend, so the process was therapeutic on many levels.

Once I had the magical fuchsia clusters made, I laid them out on a 4.75 x 5.75 card panel of Hammermill cover stock. This is a very smooth cardstock and perfect for foiling. Using a black Glaze gel pen, I drew around each cluster and added the sentiment in the center, which I created with a stencil from my childhood. Once the Glaze pen was completely dry, I foiled the outline with gold toner foil and my Minc machine. I then glued the flowers back in place and adhered the card panel to the card base.
Thank you for visiting with me today. I will be back on Friday with another post. I have two fun collections from Kinda Cute to show you then.
